Qiskit Melbourne Hackathon

University students or researchers in Melbourne and across Victoria! Do you have skills in physics, mathematics, computer science, chemistry, electrical engineering, or data science? And/or are you proficient in Python coding? The University of Melbourne and IBM Quantum invite you to a 4-day series of workshops and an in-person, hands-on hackathon on quantum computing.

You don't need quantum computing experience — in the workshops, you'll learn about quantum computing and do hands-on quantum programming using the Quantum User Interface and the Qiskit open-source software development kit. Then you'll participate in the hackathon — putting your new skills to practical use and competing against fellow participants for prizes.
